Configuring Site Parameters

  1. Select Time Track Administration > Site Parameters. The Site Parameters form is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Site
    The name of the site to be configured.
    Note: You can create a new site using the Sites form.
    ERP Type
    The ERP type for which the site parameters are defined.
    Note: You can clickGenerate Strings View, Generate Component View, Generate Menus View, and Generate Images View to generate the corresponding views.
  3. Specify this information on the Calendar Setup tab:
    Start Date
    The start date for the site calendar.
    Tracking Year
    The tracking year for the site calendar.
    1st Day of Work Week
    The day of the week that must be considered as the first day of the work week. By default, this value is set to Monday.
    Note: 
    • For Daily Elapsed Employees and Clocked Hours Employees, this day is considered as the start day of the work week for the selection criteria on the Hours Summary and Daily Elapsed Summary forms.
    • This day is considered for Weekly Elapsed employees' hours processing only if employees are assigned to Payroll Schedules that have period start dates corresponding to the Site’s 1st Day of the Work Week setting.
    Work Week Effective Date
    The date from which the change in the first day of the work week is effective.
    Note: 
    • For all the weekly selection criteria related to report dates on and after this date, the corresponding 1st Day of Work Week is considered to display records.
    • For queries on report dates prior to the Work Week Effective Date, the 1st Day of Work Week corresponding to the effective date is considered to display records.
    • If the Work Week Effective date corresponding to the report dates in the query is not defined, the default 1st Day of the Work Week is considered to display records.
    • For Weekly Elapsed Employees, this parameter is considered as the work week start date for the selection criteria on the Hours Summary and Weekly Elapsed Summary forms
  4. Click Generate Work Week to modify the 1st Day of Work Week setting.
    Note: 
    • Prior to modifying this setting, if a Work Week Effective Date is specified, the default 1st Day of Work Week or the 1st day that corresponds to the 1st day defined for the period, is considered for report dates prior to the effective date.
    • For Weekly Elapsed Employees, effective dates must be set to the current calendar date or to a future date.
    • The Create Date cannot be reset for the Elapsed Detail records of weekly employees on report dates prior to the effective date of the Work Week change or for records that have the Create Date that is prior to the work week change.
    • The Generate Work Week utility resets records to the new Work Week Start, for Weekly Elapsed Time employees with Elapsed Detail records, for future dates (planned absences or holiday abs records).
  5. Click Site Holidays to modify holidays.
  6. Click Site Calendar to view the 12 month array of the site calendar.
  7. Specify this information on the Infor CloudSuite Industrial Communication tab:
    User Name
    The name for the Syteline automation user. This user can communicate with Syteline for transaction postings and validations.
    Password
    The password for the user.
    Configuration Name
    The name of the Syteline configuration.
    URL
    The SyteLine Runtime URL to connect to Factory Track.
    Note: 
    • You must specify the SyteLine utility server name and retain the remainder of the path (/IDORequestService/ConfigServer.aspx). Also, in the response_file_path tags, specify the Factory Track utility server name and retain the remainder of the path (/Response).
    • You must click Test Connection to verify the connection. The version number and site is auto generated in the Version and Site fields.
    Version
    The version number. This value is defaulted.
    Site
    The Syteline site. This value is defaulted.
  8. Specify this information on the Time track tab:
    Payroll Code
    The code to identify each record originating from a site.
    ERP Code
    The site code for Infor Factory Track in the integrated ERP. The ERP code specified on the Site Parameters form must match the Infor Factory Track site code specified in the ERP.
    ERP Shift
    The shift code for Infor Factory Track in the integrated ERP. The code specifies a Working Time Table (WTT), which is a generic 24/7 calendar specified in the ERP.
    Allow Offset Posting
    Select this check box to automatically zero out frozen posts by posting an offsetting negative value.
    Allow Repost
    Select this check box to allow re-posting of edited transactions to the integrated ERP.
    Use Global Posting
    Select this check box to specify how to prevent posting of records with the same employee number and report date combination, when one or more records contain an error.
    Post Start End Times to ERP
    Select this check box to report shift start and end times to ERP even when these times occur on separate days.
    Allow Revert Processed Payroll
    Select this check box to allow users to revert payroll status from Processed to Submitted.
    Note: 
    • If this check box is selected and the Restore Payroll to Submitted check box on the Work Group form is selected for the user's work group, the user can use the Revert icon on the Payroll Summary and Payroll Detail forms to revert payroll status from Processed to Submitted.
    • If the check box is cleared, the Revert icon is not enabled for the Payroll Summary and Payroll Detail forms. Consequently, this functionality is not available for all users irrespective of the Work Group privilege setting.
    Allow Attendance Transactions On Future Date
    If this check box is selected, future transaction dates and time can be used when specifying attendance or labor transaction data. If the check box is cleared, only current or past transaction dates and times can be used.
    Note: The parameter does not restrict specifying of planned absences or future absence requests.
  9. Click Colors on the Colors tab to select a color format for holidays. Specify a foreground (text) color and a background color and view the result in the Sample field.
  10. Click Save and Exit.
