You must have appropriate hardware to meet the demands put on your
system. For minimum requirements, see the Online Compatibility Matrix for your application.
Note: This topic applies only to on-premises
environments.
- Server usage: Our recommended server usage is detailed in the Introduction chapter of the Infor Mongoose Installation Guide.
- Transaction log drives vs. data drives: Use separate physical drives for the data and log files. Because transaction logs are written sequentially, they require fewer dedicated drives than do data files. The number of physical drives, capacity, and performance are more important for the data drives than for the transaction log drives.
