Using the Report Pick Line Screen

Use this screen to report picking, packing, or picking and packing for pick list lines.

  1. Specify or review this information:
    To Location
    Specify a destination for the items. Depending upon how your parameters are configured, this value might be automatically specified and confirmed.
    Location
    Specify the current location of the items. Depending upon how your parameters are configured, this value might be automatically specified and confirmed.
    Item
    Scan the item number. Depending upon how your parameters are configured, this value might be automatically specified and confirmed.
    Lot
    If applicable, scan the lot number. Depending upon how your parameters are configured, this value might be automatically specified and confirmed.
    Container
    If applicable, scan the container. Depending upon how your parameters are configured, this value might be automatically specified and confirmed.
    Quantity
    Specify the picked quantity. Depending upon how your parameters are configured, this value might be automatically specified and confirmed.
    Package No
    If applicable, scan the package number. Optionally, specify *AUTO* to generate a new package number. Depending upon how your parameters are configured, this value might be automatically generated and confirmed.
    Packaging
    If applicable, specify a packaging type. Depending upon how your parameters are configured, this value might be automatically specified and confirmed.
    Catch Wt
    Specify the catch weight value with unit of measurement.
    1. Click Options. Select the required options:
      • Skip: The Report screen is displayed to pick the next line.
      • New Pkg: If the Package number generation parameter is set to 1, user must specify the value. If the Package number generation parameter is set to 2, the Package field is automatically confirmed.
      • Print Pkg: The Print Package Label transaction is displayed. If a specific profile is set in the Package label print parameter, that Print Package Label profile is displayed.
      • Text: Display shipment text, order text, operation text, line text, pack terms text, item warehouse text on the line level. Text is displayed on the first display of the line or is displayed when function button is selected.
  2. If needed, select Next to report an action for the pick list line. Depending upon your parameter settings, the action might be reported automatically when you confirm values in all required fields.
  3. If you are creating a new package, and the Package label print parameter has a value of 1, the Print Package Label screen is displayed. To print a label for the package, select a printer and select Next.

    After the action is reported, if there are remaining lines to pick on the selected pick lists, either the next line is displayed for reporting or a list of lines is displayed, allowing you to select the next one to report. If you are reporting the last line for the selected pick lists, either the Report Pick List screen is displayed, allowing you to report for the pick lists themselves, or the Search Pick Lists screen is displayed, allowing you to search for other pick lists.
