Package Update Transaction

Use the Package Update transaction to update delivery package data.

See Configuring Package Update Transaction parameters, for more information about configuring this transaction.

This transaction comprises of the Update screen.

To open the Package Update transaction, select a transaction profile associated with this transaction from the main menu. The screen displays the fields to be updated for the specific package that is required.

Auto confirm input field data

The user can change these values by specifying a Package:

  1. Weight
  2. Volume
  3. Free capacity unit
  4. Length
  5. Width
  6. Height
  7. Remark
  8. Goods mark
  9. External tracking number
  10. Packaging
  11. Seal No

The fields are reported based on these selection:

  • A: No. The fields must be confirmed by scanning or by entering the data manually.
  • B: Yes. The value is confirmed automatically.
  • C: Yes. The value is confirmed automatically, if the suggested data is not Blank.
  • D: Yes. The value is confirmed automatically, if the suggested data is Blank.

This parameter is not applicable when triggered from the Package Connect, Pick and Pack transaction, and Package Repack transaction.

Package label print

0: No print

1: Manual print (function button)

2: Prompt to print after the Package is updated (Printing manually also possible).

Note:  For option 1 and 2, a specific PRINT PACKAGE LABEL transaction profile can be set using the N;PROFILE ID format where N = 1 or 2. If profile is not set, the default PRINT PACKAGE LABEL is used.

Note that this parameter is configured using the profile ID (not the profile name).

If this parameter is active, only values set in this parameter are allowed.

Note:  Package is always the first field on the screen irrespective of the parameter setting.

Unable to modify the length, width and height for package in stock. Displayed as info fields.

Package In Stock: Weight, Volume, Free Unit and Packaging displayed as info fields and unable to modify if the package is included in another package.

Shipment Package: Length, Width, Height and Packaging not possible to change. Displayed as info fields.

Seal No (11): Only applicable for Shipment Package in BE v16 or higher
