Receive Transaction Parameters: Search

Use this screen is to search for order lines to receive. To configure parameters for this screen, select the check box next to the screen name and specify this information:
Note:  If you do not specify a value for the parameter, or you specify an invalid value, the default value is used.
  • Auto trigger Next when all fields confirmed

    Use this parameter to automatically process the information on this screen when all input fields have been confirmed. You can specify these parameter values:

    1. 0: The user must manually select Next to process information.
    2. 1: Information is automatically processed when all input fields have been confirmed.

    An example value for this parameter is 1. The default value is 0.

  • Default data for input field From date

    Use this parameter to specify a default value for the From Date field.

    An example value for this parameter is 14. The default value is 300.

  • Default data for input field Order type

    Use this parameter to specify a default value for the Order Type field. You can specify these order types:

    1. DO: Distribution order
    2. PO: Purchase order

    To specify multiple order types, place a colon in between them. For example, DO:PO.

    An example value for this parameter is DO. The default value is PO:DO.

  • Default data for input field Status (PO)

    Use this parameter to specify a default value for the Status (PO) field.

    An example value for this parameter is 40-75. The default value is 15-49.

  • Default data for input field Status (BY)

    Use this parameter to specify a default value for the Status (BY) field.

    An example value for this parameter is 00-90. The default value is 00-99.

  • Default data for input field Status (MO)

    Use this parameter to specify a default value for the Status (MO) field.

    An example value for this parameter is 00-79. The default value is 00-99.

  • Default data for input field To date

    Use this parameter to specify a default value for the To Date field. This field is used as a filter that limits order lines in the search results by their departure dates. This field is not displayed on the screen. You can specify any numeric value to indicate how many days into the future to search for order lines. For example, if today is Monday and you specify 3, the search will look for order lines with a departure date on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Optionally, leave this parameter Blank to search for order lines with any departure date.

    The default value for this parameter is 300.

  • Default data for input field Work center

    Use this parameter to specify a default value for the Status (MO) field.

    An example value for this parameter is 00-79. The default value is Blank.

  • Search field search sequence

    Use this parameter to specify the sequence in which fields are searched. These are the values for each field:

    1. Supplier
    2. Delivery (PO/DO)
    3. Order (ALL)
    4. Item (ALL)
    5. Lot (DO/MO/BY/CR)
    6. Container (DO only)
    7. Package (PO/DO)
    8. Report no (MO/BY)
    9. Work center (MO/BY)
    10. Customer (CR)
    11. Receiving No (CR)

    Specify the sequence by separating each value with a semicolon. For example, 1;3;4;7;2. Any field values that you do not include in the sequence will not be considered in the search.

    The default value for this parameter is 1;2;3;4;5;6;7.

  • Sequence of filter fields

    Use this parameter to specify the sequence in which filter fields are displayed on this screen. This sequence is used to find matching values when a value is scanned in the Search field. These are the values for each field:

    1. Search (ALL)
    2. Order type (ALL)
    3. Supplier (PO/DO)
    4. Delivery (PO/DO)
    5. Order (ALL)
    6. Item (ALL)
    7. Lot (DO/MO/BY/CR)
    8. Container (DO only)
    9. Package (PO/DO)
    10. Report no (MO/BY)
    11. Work center (MO/BY)
    12. Customer (CR)
    13. Receiving No (CR)

    Specify the sequence by separating each value with a semicolon. For example, 1;6;3. Any field values that you do not include in the sequence will not be displayed.

    Search results will be limited by any filter fields that contain data, and those fields will be excluded from the search sequence used for the Search field. For example, if your search sequence is set up to search first for suppliers, then items, and then order numbers, and you specify value A in the Item filter field, and then scan value B in the Search field, the search will first look for order lines with supplier B and item A. Then it will look for order lines with order number B and item A. It will not look for order lines with an item value of B because you specified A in the Item filter field.

    The default value for this parameter is 1;2;3;4;5;6;7;8;9.
