Receiving Transaction Parameters: Receive Line

This screen is used to report order lines as received.
Note: If you do not specify a parameter value, or you specify an invalid value, the default value will be used.
To configure parameters for this screen, select the check box next to the screen name and specify this information:
Action to report (MO+BY)
Use this parameter to specify the actions; receipt or return. These are the values:
  • 1: Receipt (return can be triggered by input negative quantity)
  • 2: Return (return is triggered regardless of the quantity input-positive or negative) : Item

An example value for this parameter is 2. The default value is 1.

API warnings to suppress (BY)
The value for this parameter is 1,2,3,6.

An example value for this parameter is 1;4;6. The default value is blank.

API warnings to suppress (MO)
The value for this parameter is 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8.

An example value for this parameter is 1;4;6. The default value is blank.

Attribute sequence numbers to include
Use this parameter to provide range of numerical value to the attribute field.

An example value for this parameter is 10-30&50&90. The default value is blank.

Attribute validation
Use this paremter to validate the attribute specified. The values are:
  • 0: No validation. Any value is allowed.
  • 1: Validation. Any value is allowed. A warning is displayed if a non-valid value is entered.
  • 2:Validation. Only valid values are allowed.

An example value for this parameter is 2. The default value is 0.

Auto confirm input field data
Use this parameter to specify whether the user must scan field values to confirm them, or if those values are automatically confirmed. These are the values for each field:
  • 1: Item
  • 2: Lot
  • 3: Container
  • 4: Quantity
  • 5: To location
  • 6: Exp Date/Prod Date
  • 7: Packaging
  • 8: Attributes

You can specify these parameter values for each field:

  • A: The user must confirm the value by scanning it.
  • B: The value is automatically confirmed.
  • C: If the suggested value is blank, the user must scan a value. Otherwise, the value is automatically confirmed.
  • D: If the suggested value is not blank, the user must scan a value. Otherwise, the value is automatically confirmed.

Specify a behavior for each field using this format: (field value)=(parameter value). For example, 1=A. To specify values for multiple fields, separate them using semicolons. For example, 1=B;2=A;3=C.

Note: 
  • If no values are suggested for a mandatory field, the user must scan a value regardless of how this parameter is configured.
  • Exp Date/Prod Date is not applicable for DO /CR .
  • Packaging is not applicable for CR.
  • The setting for 8 (Attributes) applies to all attributes.

The default value for this parameter is 1=A;2=A;3=A;4=A;5=A.

Auto trigger Next when all fields confirmed
Use this parameter to automatically process the information on this screen when all input fields have been confirmed. You can specify these parameter values:
  • 0: The user must manually select Next to process information.
  • 1: Information is automatically processed when all input fields have been confirmed.

An example value for this parameter is 1. The default value is 0.

Date format Exp/Prod Date
Use this paremter to provide expriy and production date format. The values are:
  • 1:YYYYMMDD
  • 2:YYYYDDMM
  • 3: MMYYYYDD
  • 4: MMDDYYYY
  • 5: DDYYYYMM
  • 6: DDMMYYYY
  • 7: YYMMDD
  • 8: YYDDMM
  • 9: MMYYDD
  • 10: MMDDYY
  • 11: DDYYMM
  • 12: DDMMYY
  • 13: YYYYMM
  • 14: MMYYYY
  • 15: YYMM
  • 16: MMYY

An example value for this parameter is 1. The default value is 7.

Note:  For 13-16, DD is set as the last day of the month.
Generate new lot for every receipt (MO)
Use this paremeter to generate a new lot number for every manufacturing order type.The values are:
  • 0=No
  • 1=Yes
    Note: 1: Always retrieve a new lot number for items with auto lot numbering without using the lot from MO head (if existing).

An example value for this parameter is 1. The default value is 0.

Mandatory input fields
Use this paremter to set the fields as mandatory input filters. The values are:
    • 1: Container (container method 7)
    • 2: Attributes

    The following input fields are always mandatory when displayed:

    • * Item
    • * Lot
    • * Container (container method 1-6)
    • * Quantity
    • * To location
    • * Packaging
    • * Exp Date/Prod Date
    • * Catch Weight

An example value for this parameter is 1;2. The default value is blank.

Sequence of input fields
Use this parameter to specify the sequence in which fields are displayed on this screen. The values for each field:
  • 1: Item
  • 2: Lot
  • 3: Container
  • 4: Quantity
  • 5: To Location
  • 6: Exp Date/Prod Date
  • 7:Packaging
  • 8: Catch Weight
  • 9: Attributes

Specify the sequence by separating each value with a semicolon. For example, 2;1;4;3.

The default value for this parameter is 1;2;3;4;5.

Suggest data for input field Container
Use this parameter to suggest value for the container field. The values are:
  • Fixed (any alpha)
  • *AUTO*
    Note: *AUTO* is only applicable for container method 7. For container method 1-6 suggested value is blank if this parameter is set to *AUTO*.
Suggest data for input field Exp Date
Use this parameter to suggest value for the expiry date field. The values are:
  • 0: Blank
  • 1: Current date + shelf life

An example value for this parameter is 0. The default value is 1.

Suggest data for input field Packaging
Use this paremeter to suggest value for the packaging field. The values are:
  • *SYS
  • *AUTO*

An example value for this parameter is *AUTO* . The default value is blank.

Suggest data for input field Prod Date
Use this paremeter to suggest value for the production date field. The values are:
  • 0: Blank
  • 1: Current date

An example value for this parameter is 0. The default value is 1.

Suggest data for input field SSCC
Use this paremeter to suggest value for the input field. The values are:
  • 0: Blank
  • 1: Same as Package

An example value for this parameter is 2. The default value is 1.

Suggest data for input field Status bal ID (MO+BY)
Use this paremeter to suggest value for status balance ID field. The values are:
  • 0: Blank
  • 1: Same as Package

An example value for this parameter is 2. The default value is 1.

Suggest data for input field To location
Use this parameter to specify whether to suggest values for the To Location field. You can specify any location, you can leave this blank, or you can specify *SYS to use M3's putaway logic to suggest a location.

An example value for this parameter is RECEIVING. The default value is *SYS.

Verify input field suggested data
Use this parameter to specify whether values scanned in fields must match the suggested values. These are the values for each field:
  • 1: Quantity
  • 2: To Location
  • 3: Lot (MO/BY/CR only)
  • 4: Exp Date/Prod Date
  • 5: Container
  • 6:Packaging
  • 7: Attributes

You can specify these parameter values for each field:

  • A: The user can scan any value, and it will not be verified against the suggested value.
  • B: The user can scan any value, but they will be warned if it does not match the suggested value.
  • C: The user can scan any value, but they will be warned if it is higher than the suggested value.
  • D: The user can scan any value, but they will be warned if it is lower than the suggested value.
  • E: The scanned value must match the suggested value.
  • F: The scanned value cannot be higher than the suggested value.
  • G: The scanned value cannot be lower than the suggested value.
  • H: The scanned value cannot be lower than the suggested value, and the user will be warned if the scanned value is higher than the suggested value.
  • I: The scanned value cannot be higher than the suggested value, and the user will be warned if the scanned value is lower than the suggested value.

Specify a behavior for each field using this format: (field value)=(parameter value). For example, 1=A. To specify values for multiple fields, separate them using semicolons. For example, 1=F;2=B.

Note: 
  • If data is not specified, the value A is defaulted.
  • The setting for 7, (input field) applies to all attributes. For alphanumeric attributes C/D function like B and F/G/H/I work like E.

The default value for this parameter is 1=A;2=A.
