Viewing the current user record cap on collections

If you suspect that the number of records the system is retrieving for a collection is not what it needs to be, you can view the current user-level cap being used, to find out what it is set to.

Note: This procedure does not help you to know if there is a system-wide record cap in use and, if it is, the value to which it is set. For more information, see About caps.
  1. Select View > User Preferences.
  2. In the User Preferences dialog box, determine the value set in the User Data Record Cap section.
Tthe option that is selected shows the current user-level cap on data records retrieved from collections.
