Audit Log Types

Use this form to create types of messages to include in the audit log. By default, the system generates messages when these actions occur:

  • Users log in (type 1)
  • Users open a form (type 2)
  • Users modify a form or object (type 3)
  • The Application Event System performs audit logging from the Audit action type (type 4)
  • A user login failure occurs (type 5)
  • Users log out (type 6)

Developers can create other types of messages that are generated by event handlers of the Add Entry to Audit Log response type.

Note: If you no longer want a certain audit log type to create an audit log, you must delete the audit log records for that type on the Audit Log form first and then come back here to the Audit Log Types form and delete that type. You can only delete audit log types of 10,000 and greater.

To have messages sent to the audit log, you must set Enable Audit Logging to 1 on the Process Defaults form.
