Creating new timesheet

  1. Select Form > Open. The Select Form window is displayed.
  2. Specify Employee Landing Page in the Filter field.
  3. Click OK. The Employee Landing Page form is displayed.
  4. Click New Time Sheet. The New Timesheet form is displayed.
  5. Review this information in the header section:
    • Name and ID of the employee.
    • The date range of the timesheet entry.
      Note: By default, the first date of current week is set to the value specified in the Start Date field.
    • Status of the timesheet. Possible values:
      • New
      • Running
      • Exception
      • Booking
      • Ready
      • Submitted
      • Approved
      • Processed
      • Payroll Processed
      Note: By default, the status is set to New. The status is modified when the employee specifies the data in the timesheet.
  6. Click FT_Add_symbol. The Time Entry form is displayed.
    Note: The details in the Time Entry form are displayed based on the value in the Job Type field.
  7. Specify this information:
    Date
    The start date of the week for the timesheet.
    Reoccurence
    Note: This field is not displayed for the Clocked-in employee.
    Job Type
    The type of work associated with the employee. Possible values:
    • Indirect
    • Production Order
    • Setup
    • Project
    • Service
    Note: The fields are displayed based on the selected job type.
    Duration
    The total hours an employee has worked.
    Note: The start and end time is displayed.
    HLT Code
    The code of the hour types.
    Notes
    The additional information related to the timesheet.
    Status
    The status of the timesheet.
    Total Hours
    The total work hours of the employee. The value is calculated based on the start and end time of the total hours logged by the employee.
    Note: 
    • This value is defaulted from the Duration, if the employee has previously worked on the job.
    • This value is defaulted from the Stop Time, if the employee has clocked in the job.
  8. Click Save Entry. You can view the details in the Activity Summary section.
  9. Click Save.
