Resource Group Restricted Access

New LN Shop Floor parameters have been added which restricts Users or Operators to access certain work centers (Resource Groups) in the LN Shop Floor module. These restrictions are set at Operator level or at Generic level.

• Resource Group Restricted Access – select this parameter if you want to control access to resource groups (work centers) by operator.
• Hold Resource Group Access at User Level – select this parameter if you want to control access to specific resource groups (work centers) at a user level.
  Note: This parameter is only visible if the Resource Group Restricted Access parameter is selected.

The operator can start the job only in the assigned resource groups when the restriction is set at Operator level. If the restriction is set at Generic level, all operators logging in through that user are only allowed to start jobs in the resource groups assigned to that user.

These new forms have been created:

• Employee Resource Group Access – use this form to specify the resource groups which a specific employee (operator) has been granted access to.
• User Resource Group Access – use this form to specify the resource groups which a generic kiosk-type has been granted access to.
