Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) for handling units

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is used to identify and track handling units in the outbound and shipping processes and the RFID information is stored as the Asset tag. For this purpose, handling units are provided with RFID tags. The RFID code that is displayed in the hexadecimal format is converted into ASCII before it is stored as the Asset tag.

These transactions support RFID tags when the Warehouse Mobility based RFID Capture in Use parameter is selected in Factory Track:

  • Packing by Shipment
  • Sealing
  • Loading
  • Asset Tag
Note: 
  • You can use this functionality only when the RFID Capture in Use parameter is enabled in the Warehouse Mobility Parameters form.
  • To implement this functionality, you must enable this feature (RS8999) on the Feature Management form.
