Tasks

Use this form to configure tasks that employees perform during a shift.  Tasks account for time when an employee is present, but not performing an activity that is directly related to production, such as time spent at a safety meeting or performing maintenance duties.

You can designate tasks as indirect tasks or general tasks. Hours that are reported for an indirect task are reported to your ERP system under a task code, while hours that are reported for a general task are reported to an order or project linked to the general task. General tasks can only be performed by employees who are configured to use elapsed time.
