Understanding List Sources

List boxes, drop lists, combo boxes, enhanced combo boxes, and grid columns allow users to select data from a displayed list. The source of the data that is presented in this list is called the component's list source. The specifications for a list source determine what items show in the component's list. A list source can be one of these types:

• Inline
• IDO Collection
• IDO Method
• Script

Users can also specify a list defined in the User Defined Types form.
