The following table lists the elements of this dialog box and explains their use.
| Group | Element | Function/Comments |
|---|---|---|
| List of forms | Displays all forms in the current forms database.
This field displays forms in two columns, one by Caption (form title) and one by internal system Name. By default, the Caption column is primary and displays on the left side. Forms are arranged alphabetically by caption. Forms are listed alphabetically by caption or by internal system name. |
|
| Select by name instead of caption | When selected, switches the columns so that the internal system Name column is primary and displays on the left side. Forms are arranged alphabetically by these names. | |
| Filter | All containing | Enter a word or set of characters by which you want to filter
the form list.
For example, if you wanted to locate the Users form easily, you would enter Users in this field. When you click Filter, the system would retrieve a list of only those forms with "Users" in the form caption or name. |
| Case-sensitive | If you want the system to search for forms that have the same
capitalization as the value you entered in the All containing
field, select this check box. Otherwise, the system disregards
capitalization when retrieving the list of forms.
For example, if you enter App in the All containing field, and you select this check box, the resulting search would include the Applicant Education form, but not the Account Number Mapping form. |
|
| Filter (button) | After you have set your search criteria in the All containing and Case-sensitive options, click this button to retrieve the filtered list. | |
