Displaying and Maintaining Checked Out Objects
You can display a list of everything you have checked out, and you can
unlock or check in items from the list.
Displaying your checked-out objects
To display your checked-out objects:
- In the Form Control
form, select the My Checked Out Objects tab.
- In the Display/select my checked out objects group box,
click Display List.
In the Checked Out Objects pane, the system displays a list
of all the objects you have checked out. The values, if any, for each
object, both in the master and run-time databases, are displayed along
with the name and type of each object.
NOTE: This display
does not include any template objects you might have checked out.
Forms and global objects that you have created are displayed in this
list only if you selected Enforce
strict locking of forms and objects in the user settings, and
you select Include Newly Created
on this tab.
Checking in or unlocking your checked-out objects
To check in or unlock objects that you have checked out:
- Display your checked-out objects.
Use the procedure in the previous section.
- In the Actions group box, click Check in or Unlock.
- Do one of these actions:
- To check in or unlock all objects you have checked out, click
Select All.
- To check in or unlock only one or some of the objects you have
checked out, in the Inc column, select the check box for
each object you want to check in or unlock.
- To check in or unlock any form templates that you have checked
out, in the Process options group box, select the Include
form templates check box.
- Click Execute Action.
- When prompted, click OK.
