Pre-requisites

These are the pre-requisites to configure the Infor LN Warehouse Mobility mobile application:

  • Activate RS8738 (Factory Track App) feature using Feature Management form.
  • Turn on FT App in Use global parameter using Global Parameters form.
  • Configure Device Types and associated parameters using Device Types form. For example, AP can be used for the Android Phone type of devices, AT can be used for the Android Tablet type of devices.
  • Configure Registration User using Users form. The Registration User is used for FT App to register to Factory Track server and fetch App parameters from FT Server. For example, Registration User can be named as FTAutomation. The user needs this setup:
    • Password needs to be configured in Factory Track.
    • FT-Integration group needs to be assigned to the user or select the Super User check box.
    • FactoryTrackAuto and FactoryTrackBase license modules needs to be assigned on the User Modules form for this user.
  • Define the Default Device Type parameter on the Application Parameters form. You can select one of the device types that are created on the Device Types form.

Factory Track App minimum requirement specifications:

  • Processor: Multicore, 1.8 GHz or higher.
  • Android 7.1 or higher.
  • Display: 480x800 display that is at least 4.0” or larger.
    Note: The devices without keypads need larger screens to support the popup keyboards.
  • Memory: 3GB of RAM or more.
  • Storage: 32GB total storage.
  • 802.11 Wireless g minimum infrastructure.
  • Capacitive Touch Screen.
    Note: The devices without a built-in hardware keypad might encounter overlap between the pop-up keyboard and the Factory Track Warehouse Mobility screens, as the pop-up keyboard reduces the amount of space for the Factory Track screens. This overlap can be addressed by devices with larger display sizes. However, you can also turn off the virtual keyboard completely and perform all the user input tasks by scanning.
