Receiving items into containers

Use this transaction to view details about a container.

  1. Select Handling Unit > Handling Unit Inquiry. The Handling Unit Inquiry screen is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Handling Unit
    The Handling unit that the item is associated to.
    Item
    The item number and the description of the handling unit.
    Status
    The status of the handling unit.
    Parent HU
    The existing parent handling unit that is used in the transaction.
    Whse
    The warehouse in which the handling unit exists.
    Loc
    The location of the handling unit.
    Lot
    The lot number of items.
    Inv Date
    The date on which items are updated to the inventory.
    Serial
    The serial number of the single serial-in-inventory time used in this transaction.
    Qty
    The item quantity of the handling unit.
  3. Click Show Serial to view the serialized items in the selected handling unit.
  4. Click Show HU to view the nested structure and the child handling units associated with the selected handling units.
