Receiving customer returned items

  1. Select Inbound Transactions > Customer Returns. The ASN Receipt screen is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Customer
    The customer who is returning items.
    New Order?
    Indicates if the order is a new or existing order. Possible values:
    • Yes: Creates new sales order.
    • No: Links the returned item to an existing order.
  3. Click Next and specify this information:
    Item
    The item number and the description.
    Lot
    The lot number linked to the item.
    Quantity (Qty)
    The quantity of the returned items.
    Warehouse (Whse)
    The warehouse in which the returned items are moved.
    Loc
    The location from which items are received.
    Generate HU
    The handling unit associated to the specified item.
  4. Click Process. The scanned serial number or lot number is processed.
    Note: If the item is serial-controlled or needs to be assigned with a Lot Number, click Serial/Lot.
  5. Specify this information:
    Warehouse
    The warehouse of the received item.
    Item number
    The item number and description of the item.
    Quantity remaining
    The quantity that must be assigned with serial or lot numbers.
    Lot Number
    The lot number linked to the item.
    Inv Date
    The date on which items are added to the inventory.
    Note: This field is displayed only if the item is date controlled.
    Serial Number
    The serial number of the item.
    Quantity
    The quantity to be assigned with the specified Lot Number.
  6. Click Scanned Serial to view the list of the scanned (Received) items.
