Picking items for orders without a pick list

Use this transaction to pick items for orders that are not associated with a pick list. You can select the locations from which items must be picked. You can also configure the transaction to automatically generate and release outbound allocations when items are picked.

  1. Select Outbound Transactions > Allocate Release. The Allocate Release screen is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Warehouse
    The warehouse location of the item.
    Order Type
    The order type for the selected warehouse.
    From Order and To Order
    The range of order numbers. Items linked to these orders are only displayed. Specify a range of order numbers. The system displays only items linked to the selected orders. To include all order numbers between two values, specify a different order number in the To Order field.
    Handing Unit
    The handling unit that is associated with the items. When a handling unit is scanned, the system identifies the linked items and quantities. If the handling unit is allocated, the system picks all lines for the handling unit.
  3. Click Next to view the available order lines for the specified criteria.
    Note: You can select the lines to allocate and release for picking.
