Blocking/Unblocking a lot

Use this transaction to block or unblock lots in inventory. This functionality is used when the lot is blocked for operations or if the current lot is damaged.

  1. Select Inventory Transactions > Lot Block/Unblock. The Lot Block/Unblock screen is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Item
    The alphanumeric code assigned to the item.
    Lot Number
    The alphanumeric code of the lot.
    Note: The Warehouse and Location fields are populated based on the specified item and lot number when the lot number is stored in a single location. If the lot number is stored in multiple locations, the Warehouse and Location fields are blank.
    Status
    The status of the lot. Possible values:
    • Blocked
    • Unblocked
    Reason Code
    The reason to block or unblock the lot.
    Note: 
    • This value is defaulted based on the value set in the Default Reason Code parameter in the Transaction Set Maintenance form.
    • This value cannot be modified when the status of the lot is Blocked.
  3. Click Block/Unblock.
