Packing items by shipment

Use this transaction to pack items for a shipment.

  1. Select Packing Transactions > Packing By Shipment. The Packing By Shipment screen is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Handling Unit
    The handling unit of the item.
    Order Type
    The type of order.
    Order Number
    The scanned order number.
    Item Number
    The scanned item number.
    Lot Number
    The scanned lot number.
    Serial Number
    The unique number of the single serial-in-inventory item
  3. Click Next to validate the specified information.
    Note: The Packing Details screen is displayed where you can confirm the items and quantities to be packed into the handling unit.
