Using the Assembly Control transaction

Use this transaction to report Assembly Line Station Orders as Complete. The Default Line Station parameter is used to default the Line Station based on the value specified on the user parameter level when starting the Assembly Control transaction.

  1. Select Production Transactions > Assembly Control. The Assembly Control screen is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Line Station
    The code that must be scanned for the line station.
    Serial Number
    The serial number that must be scanned for the assembly order.
    Item
    The item number that must be scanned for the assembly order.
    Order Number
    The order number that must be scanned for the assembly order.
    Variant
    The variant of the line station order.
    Assembly Line
    The assembly line of the line station order.
    Planned Start
    The planned start date and time of the line station order.
    Planned End
    The planned end date and time of the line station order.
    Next Station
    The subsequent station of the line order number.
    Complete
    The action to be performed on the line station order. Possible options:
    • Yes: The line station order is reported Complete.
    • No: No update is performed. The line station order is uncompleted if this option is selected for a previously completed line station order.
  3. Select Process to complete the assembly.
