Adding an asset tag to a shipping handling unit

Use this transaction to add or update an Asset Tag associated with a Shipment Handling Unit. Asset Tags can also be added during the Packing, Sealing or Loading processes if the required parameters are selected for these transactions.

  1. Select Packing Transactions > Packing Inquiry. The Packing Inquiry screen is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Handling Unit
    The handling unit of the shipment.
    Asset Tag
    The tag number associated with the handling unit.
  3. Click Process.
