Returning items from production

Use the Return Material transaction to return items to inventory that have been previously issued to a production order.

  1. Select Production Transactions > Return Material. The As Return Material screen is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Order Number
    The number of the production order from which the material is being returned.
    Item Number
    The item number to return. The item description is displayed.
    Position
    The position of the item on the order.
    Warehouse
    The warehouse to which the items are being returned.
    Quantity
    The quantity to return to inventory.
  3. Click Submit.
