Issuing unplanned material

Use the Unplanned Material Issue transaction to pick items for a production order in addition to the items listed on the pick list. These additional items are added to the order on a new line. This transaction provides you flexibility to decide the locations from which items must be picked. You can configure the transaction to automatically generate and release outbound allocations when items are picked.

  1. Select Production Transactions > Unplanned Material Issue. The Unplanned Material Issue screen is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Order
    The production order number to be scanned.
    Item Number
    The number of the item that are issued. The item description is displayed.
    Warehouse
    The warehouse associated to the order.
    Quantity Available
    The quantity available for allocation.
    Quantity
    The quantity of items to issue.
  3. Click Submit.
