Closing a container

Use this transaction to close or delete the handling unit when all the items are removed from the container.

  1. Select Handling Unit > Close Handling Unit. The Close Handling Unit screen is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Handling unit
    The existing handling unit that must be deleted.
    Delete HU
    Indicate if the handling unit must be deleted. Possible values:
    • Yes: The handling unit is deleted.
    • No: The handling unit is not deleted.
  3. Click Close HU to close or delete the handling unit based on the Delete HU selection. A success message is displayed.
