Putting away items using order number

  1. Select Icon Menu > Inbound Transactions > Putaway. The Putaway form is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Order Type
    The order type for putaway.
    Order Number
    The order number for putaway.
    Item Number
    The item number to display lines with a specific item.
    Note: All the lines awaiting put away are displayed when this field is blank.
  3. Select Process.
  4. Select a line to put away.
    Note: If you are putting away a container linked to a handling unit the prompt message to put away a line is not displayed.
  5. Specify this information:
    Actual Location
    The put away location for the item.
    Quantity
    The quantity to put away.
    Note: To assign a handling unit with the received items, select Yes in the Enter HU field when using handling units. To receive the items as loose inventory, specify No.
  6. Select Process.
  7. Specify No, to skip cross docking.
