Using the Release Management Utility form

  1. Access the Release Management Utility form.
  2. Click the Enable Infor Control option to allow users to choose whether Infor updates the environment automatically during scheduled maintenance or if the updates can be managed manually.
  3. Click the Check Now option to check whether the system is ready for an update when manual updates are enabled.
  4. Specify the last checked date and time in the Last Checked Time field.
    Note: This field is enabled only if the Check Now option is clicked.

  5. Click the Update Customer Release To Latest Release option to start a manual update to the latest application version. All active users are logged manual update to the latest application version. All active users are logged off, and the application is temporarily unavailable during this update.
  6. Specify this information in the Releases section:
    Notification Time
    The time delay before update maintenance begins. During this delay, emails are sent to predefined recipients.
    Latest Application Release
    The latest version of the Factory Track application available for manual update.
    Customer Application Release
    The version of the customer Factory Track application.
    Notification Emails Will Be Sent To
    The list of email addresses for which a notification is sent after the manual update is started. These emails are defined in the Process Defaults form.
  7. Review the status related to the Release Management process in the Messages section.
  8. Review this information in the Next Maintenance Window section:
    Release
    The version number scheduled for the next deployment, during the next Customer Maintenance Window is displayed.
    Start Time
    The scheduled beginning time of the next Customer Maintenance Window (CMW).
    End Time
    The scheduled end time of the next Customer Maintenance Window (CMW).
