Event Action Update Collection

Note: You can access this form only from the Event Actions form.

Use this form to construct an application event action that updates an IDO collection by inserting, updating, or deleting records within that collection. Using this form, you can either update a collection directly from a specified IDO, or you can update a collection that is already loaded into a named result set.

Note: The Update Collection action type is similar to the Dispatch Update Collection action type. The primary difference is that the Update Collection action type executes the update collection request on the system from which it is initiated; the Dispatch Update Collection executes the update collection request on a remote system.
