FT App and Web QR Code Generator

Use this form to generate QR Code that can be used to register the FT App.

Prerequisites

The following steps needs to be completed to use the FT App and generate QR code.

• Activate RS8738 (Factory Track App) feature using Feature Management Form.
• Turn on FT App in Use global parameter using Global Parameters form.
• Configure device types and associated parameters using Device Types form.

  For example: AP can be device type for Android Phone style devices, AT can be device type for Android Table style devices.

• Setup Registration User using Users form. The Registration User is used for FT App to register to Factory Track server and fetch App parameters from FT Server. For Example, Registration User can be named as FTAutomation. This user needs the following setup.
  • Password must be configured in Factory Track.
  • FT-Integration group needs to be assigned to this user or select the Super User check box.
  • FactoryTrackAuto and FactoryTrackBase license modules must be assigned in User Modules form for this user.
• Define Default Device Type parameter in Application Parameters form. One of the device types created part in Device Types form needs to be updated here.
