Serial controlled materials

When a serial controlled material is selected the serial grid is displayed instead of the lot grid. The serial numbers are displayed from the backflush location of the material. Serial numbers are automatically selected based on the required quantity.

When the available serial numbers are fewer than the required quantity, all available serial numbers are selected. When more serial numbers are available than required, only the quantity required is selected from the list.

You can select the Select All check box to automatically select the required number of serial numbers. You can clear the check box to remove the selection.

Serial numbers can also be selected individually, or by scanning or specifying a serial number. Selected serial numbers are moved to the top of the list. When a partial serial number is specified, all matching serial numbers are selected and moved to the top of the list.

After the required quantity of serial numbers is selected, no additional serial numbers can be selected or scanned.
