QC Tests
Use the QC Tests tab on the Task Details form to generate the quality control tests of a job operation and to record the test results. This tab is displayed only if the Allow New Tests for the Receiver check box is selected for the QC Tests parameter on the Parameter Dashboard form. The receiver number is defaulted from the job operation that is accessed from the Dispatch List or Active Task forms, and the inspector is the employee who is logged on to the Shop Floor.
- This functionality is displayed only if the QC Tests feature (RS9343) is enabled on the Feature Management form.
- You can record the QC test result. However, the operator can skip the tests and report the quantity directly on the Report Quantity tab.
The option is enabled if the item is a QC serial item and preassigned job serial numbers are available. You can click this option to view the preassigned serial numbers. The Lot field is displayed if the item is lot controlled. If preassigned lots exists, only the related lots are displayed and accepted. If a preassigned lot is displayed, the operator can scan a lot or generate, using the Report Inventory. A scanned lot is validated for the standard CSI lot.
The lots that are recorded on the QC Tests tab are displayed on the Report Inventory form.
These two test types are displayed:
- Each Tests: Individual pieces or serial numbers are tested one at a time.
- Batch Tests: A record is created for the complete batch.
The tests are final in Factory Track after being generated. You can delete the test in CSI, and the QC Tests tab is refreshed when the operator leaves the tab and access again.
