Assigning backflush lots and serial numbers
Use this form to assign the lots and serial numbers of the backflush materials of an operation. The form is displayed automatically when a quantity is reported for an operation that has lot controlled or serial controlled backflush materials.
You can view the list of backflush materials with an assignment indicator for each material. You can also view lots, serial numbers, or both, based on how the selected material is controlled. The backflush material requirements of the preceding operations that are not control points are also included.
The assignment indicators include these colors:
- Green: Indicates that the required quantity is completely assigned.
- Orange: Indicates that the required quantity is partially assigned.
- Red: Indicates that nothing is assigned yet.
The option is enabled only after the required quantity is assigned for each material in the list.
