Configuring Global Parameters

Use the Global Parameters form to configure parameters that apply to all Infor Factory Track transactions and forms.

To configure Global Parameters:

  1. Select Parameter Dashboard > Global Parameters. The Global Parameters form is displayed..
  2. Setup the following parameters:
    Shop Floor in Use
    Select this check box to allow users to access the new shop floor module in Factory Track.
    Time Track is implemented
    Select this check box to allow users to access the time track related transactions in factory track.
    None
    Select this check box if Shop Floor being implemented without time track.
    Allow Negative Inventory
    Select this checkbox to allow users to issue material, even if inventory is not available, if CSI’s ‘On Hand Neg Flag’ inventory parameter is turned on.
    Generate Serials
    Select this checkbox to allow users to generate serials while reporting inventory
    PIN Required
    Select this check box to make PIN number mandatory when employees sign in as a generic user.
    CSI Multi Plant in Use
    Select this check box to enable the Multi-plant functionality. When this check box is selected, plant-related fields are displayed on the applicable forms, and the data on Shop Floor forms is filtered based on the current plant of the user.
    Note: This check box is displayed only if the RS9345 feature is enabled on the Feature Management form.
    Default Plant
    The default plant that must be used when the Multi-plant functionality is enabled and no plant is assigned to the user. The specified plant determines the plant-specific data that must be displayed on the applicable Shop Floor forms.
    Note: This field is displayed only if the CSI Multi Plant in Use check box is selected.
  3. Click Save.
