Task Details
Use this form to view the details of a production order operation.
To access this form, you can click a task on the Active Task Lists form and Dispatch List form. You can also click the icon for a JIT item to access this form. The various tabs on the form display the production order operation details, material data, documents linked to the operation and so on.
- The Machine and Setup fields are displayed only if the resource group is associated with a machine and requires setup.
- The Stop option is displayed if the operation is started.
- The Start or Stop option is disabled when the user with Supervisor role is logged in.
Use the Overview tab to:
- View the details and due dates associated with the task.
Use the Routing tab to view:
- The list of operations for the order and the status where the list of operations is displayed in numerical sequence.
- operation details such as the task and work center, item quantities ordered, completed, rejected and outstanding.
Use the Resources tab to:
- View the resources (operators and/or machines) assigned to the selected operation, description and resource ID.
- Displays all operators who are currently working on a selected Job, along with any machines that are actively running that job. It provides increased visibility for both operators and supervisors when reviewing job activity.
- Click Assignment option to access the Supervisor’s Task Assignment form.
Note: The Assignments option is enabled, only when the user with Supervisor role is logged in.
Use the Routing tab to:
- View the JIT items routing operations and work areas.
- Select an operation from the list to view the details of the operation. The details include operation number and work center code and description.
Use the Materials tab to:
- View the item details that can be issued for the operation. This data is defaulted from the integrated ERP application.
- View all BOM materials associated with the operation. For JIT items, you can view the BOM materials that are backflushed when JIT quantity is reported.
- Review material information, such as Item, Location, Available Qty, and UOM. For JIT items, the Location column displays the backflush location and the Available Qty column displays the quantities that are currently available at that location.
- Verify material availability before reporting JIT quantities and identify situations where insufficient material is available at the backflush location.
- Access the Issue Material Form using the Issue New Materials or Issue option.
Note: This option is only displayed for items that are not backflushed.
- Issue the material required for the production order using Issue option.
- Return the previously issued material of the production order to the inventory of a warehouse, using the Return option.
Note: This option is only displayed for items that are not backflushed.
- Issue additional materials to the work center for JIT items, using the Issue Now option. The Work Center Material Issue form is displayed, and the final operation work area is selected by default. Operators can select any work area associated with the JIT item operations.
Use the Co-Products tab to:
- View the accepted and rejected quantities for co-product items associated with a production order.
- View the cumulative accepted and rejected quantities and perform reporting actions using the , , and options. Quantities can be reported for both intermediate and final operations.
- View warehouse information and co-product item details, such as open quantity, completed quantity, accepted quantity.
- Automatically distribute the accepted and rejected quantities across co-product items based on the defined co-product mix ratio if the Distribute Quantity per Co-Product Mix check box is selected for the Report Inventory transaction on the Parameter Dashboard form.
- Specify the accepted and rejected quantities for the co-product items individually. You can also modify these quantities.
- Populate outstanding operation quantities for the co-product items using the option. Reverse previously reported accepted and rejected quantities, for quantities that has already been reported. This action is allowed only if the Reversal check box is selected.
- Process lot, location, backflush material, serial number, and quantity validations according to the existing ERP and Shop Floor parameter settings.
- Print or reprint labels for the co-product items after quantities are reported.
Use the Documents tab to:
- View the documents and images related to the selected operation. This data is defaulted from IDM for each task.
- View the details in a full screen mode using the FULLSCREEN option.
- View IDM documents and images attached to the selected end item, for JIT items.
Use the Notesto:
- View the list of notes specified for the job, operation or task.
- Create a new note using the Add icon. The Note Type window is displayed wherein you can select the appropriate type (Order, Operation or Item) for which the note is created.
Use the Report Quantity tab to:
- View the quantities reported for the operation. For JIT items, use the Numeric Quantity field or the on-screen numeric keypad to specify the reported quantity.
- Accept the item quantity using the Accept option. For JIT items, when you click the option, the Report Inventory screen is displayed.
- Reject the item quantity using the Reject option.
Note: You must select a reason code in the Reject Reason Code pane that is displayed when the Reject option is clicked.
- Stop the job using the Stop option.
- The Complete check box is displayed only when the Allow Entry of Complete Flag check box is selected in the Report Inventory parameter on the Transaction Set Maintenance form.
- The Complete check box is set to No by default. When full quantity is entered the flag selects automatically and if needed the operator can unselect it. If the Complete check box is selected, the or button click automatically stops the job.
- Select the Reversal check box to reset the reported quantities. This option is available only when feature RS9322SL is active and when Report Inventory transaction parameter Production Reversals in Use check box is selected is selected for the Report Inventory transaction on the Shop Floor Parameters form. For JIT items, the Reversal check box is displayed only if the Reversal in Use check box is selected on the Shop Floor Parameters form.
If backflush materials of the operation is lot or serial controlled, the Backflush Assignment form is displayed automatically when the quantity is accepted. You can use this form to assign the lots and the serial numbers to be backflushed. For more information, see Assigning backflush lots and serial numbers.
Operator can view the notes specified for a job, operation, item or JIT items on the Notes tab that is indicated with a Notes icon. This icon is displayed only if a note is defined for an order, operation or Item.
