Recording the test results

You can click a test record to access the Test Results Entry form. The test records is displayed while the entry form is accessed, allowing both views to be displayed simultaneously.

For an Each Test, the entry form includes:

• Min, Nom, and Max reference values from the test plan. These values cannot be modified.
• The Test Value field with an on-screen numeric keypad. If the specified value is outside the defined Min and Max range, the field is highlighted in red.
• The test unit of measure, with the expected unit of measure displayed beside it.
• The Pass and Fail check boxes, along with the Save option.

For a Batch Test, the entry form includes:

• The Minimum, Nominal, and Maximum values, each with an editable actual value and the corresponding read-only test plan value.
• The tested quantity and failed quantity.
• The test unit of measure, with the expected unit of measure is displayed.
• The Pass and Fail check boxes, along with the Save option.

The Save option is enabled only after either Pass or Fail is selected. If Save is clicked before a result is selected, a validation message is displayed.

After a test record is saved, the entry form automatically loads the next test record. Use the Back and Forward arrows to navigate through the records, or select a record directly from the list. Any values entered are discarded if the form is closed or another record is selected before the values are saved.

A counter, such as Test 1 / 10, is displayed in the action row and updates as you move through the test records. When tests are generated, the first test record opens automatically. The currently selected record is highlighted and identified with an arrow.
