Configuring Issue Material Transaction Parameters

Use the Parameter Dashboard form to configure parameters for the Issue Material transaction.

  1. Select Parameter Dashboard > Global Parameters > Shop Floor > Processes > Issue Material.
  2. Select Successful Message checkbox to display a success message when the transaction is successfully completed.
  3. Configure these parameters on the Transaction Parameters tab, in the Parameter and Value columns:
    Allow Over Issue
    Select this check box to allow the users to issue more than planned material
    Empty Inventory List
    Select this parameter to force the user to scan / enter the backflush lots to view and issue the inventory. When this is not selected, lots and inventory at the backflush location are shown automatically.
    Location Recommendation Group
    This is a group parameter available under ‘Parameter Group Settings’. This group is available in ‘Report Inventory’, ‘Issue Material’ and ‘Return Material’. Changes made at group level are automatically available at the individual transaction levels. Group parameters for transaction-based behavior can be copied and adjusted for each transaction as needed.

    The below parameters are available in the group

    Default Location
    Set value in this to report inventory to / issue / return material to this location.
    Enable Location
    Select this checkbox to allow the user to see available locations or change the default location.
    Add Item Stock Room Location as Permanent
    If there is no relationship between item and location in CSI previously, a permanent relationship is created after the transaction
    Popup Options
    Select this checkbox to decide what locations to be show to the user in the location field dropdown while issuing the material
    Show Zero Inventory Locations
    Select this checkbox to display locations with zero inventory in the location field dropdown.
    Show Negative Inventory Locations
    Select this checkbox to display locations with negative inventory in the location field dropdown.
    Sort Options
    It has a child parameter ‘Rank’ Select this to display the locations in the order of Rank in location field dropdown.
  4. Click Save.
