Passing or failing a test without recording the test values

For a visual inspection, a test record can be marked as Pass or Fail directly from the test record by selecting the corresponding check box and then clicking Save in the action row. Once saved, the record becomes read-only and cannot be modified.

Note: 
  • If Pass or Fail is selected on a test record and then another area of the same record is clicked, the Test Results Entry form is dispalyed and the selected Pass or Fail value is cleared from the test record.
  • If the Test Results Entry form is accessed and Pass or Fail is selected on the test record, the entry form closes automatically and the Save option in the action row is enabled.

You can click Save to record the result and lock the test record from further changes.
