Setting up Order Types on Resource Order Types

To set up order types:

  1. Select Form > Open > Resource Order Types . The Resource Order Types form is displayed.
  2. Review this information
    Resource Order Type
    The type of orders in the Shop Floor module. The possible values are:
    • Indirect
    • Project
    • PCS
    • Production
    • Service
    • Work
    Resource group Type
    The resource group type associated with the selected order type.
    Active
    Select this check box to indicate that the order type is in use.
    Allow only Associated Cost Component
    Select this check box to allow the selection of task codes that are associated with the cost component of the employee. If this check box is cleared, all project task codes can be selected.
    Note: 
    • This field is displayed only if the value in the Resource Order Type field is set to Projects.
    • By default, this check box is cleared allowing access to all Project Task codes.
    Order Key
    The type of order key defined for each Resource Order type.
  3. Click Save.
