Dispatch List form
Use this form to view the tasks that are yet to be initiated by this operator or machine.
Note:
- It is possible to start multiple tasks for an operator and/or machine if the Allow multiple tasks by Operator Allow multiple tasks by Machine Shop floor parameters are selected.
- If the user has logged in Machine Mode and the Machine uses some Machine Integration software, the application only starts one task at a time, irrespective of the global parameter setting.
By default, these values are displayed:
- Operator Name/Machine Number.
- Work Area: The default Work Area associated with the Operator Name/Machine Number. However, you can modify this value when you log in as an operator.
- Current date and time: This can be changed if the user has permissions to edit the values.
Note: Click button to log out.
The form displays:
- The tasks assigned by the supervisor to the operator or machine are displayed at the top of the list. Other open tasks are displayed after this, if the shop floor parameter (Show Unassigned Tasks) is selected.
- Each task line displays the item number, description and the order number/operation number, the sum of the expected time required (setup and run time), the date/time the operation is due to start on and a button.
- Click button to view the Sort by and Filter section. These options can be used to arrange the data to be displayed in the dispatch form. The data can be sorted by:
- Production Order Due Date
- Production Order Start Date
- Operation Start Date
- Operation Due Date
- The data can be filtered by:
- All Materials have been Issued.
- Previous Operation is Complete.
- Show Completed Operations.
Note: Select this check box to view the list of completed operations. Users have the authorization to save and reset the filter.
- Click , the Start Task (Operator) screen is displayed, if a resource or setup option to be selected when logged in the Operator mode.
- Click , the Start Task (Machine) screen is displayed if logged in the Machine mode. If the Operator has not yet been identified, the operator needs to identify themselves before a task can be started in Machine mode.
Note:
- This can be only possible to start multiple tasks for an operator and/or machine if the appropriate shop floor parameters (Allow multiple tasks by Operator/Allow multiple tasks by Machine) are selected.
- The Gap Interval parameter is used to ensure unwanted gaps are eliminated, automatically adjusting start and stop times within the nominated interval.
- If a Machine is linked to some Machine Integration software, then the Allow Multiple Jobs parameter is not considered for this machine. The application only allows to start one tasks at a time for the machine that is linked to an integration software.
- On the Start Task (Operator) screen, select the Setup check box for set-up tasks and the labor resource / machine resource for the operation, if required.
- On the Start Task (Operator) screen, the prompt for machine resource appears only if the operation has a resource group that has a machine resource in it. The prompt for labor resource appears only if Enter Labor Resource ID shop floor parameter is selected.
- On the Start Task (Machine) screen, select the Setup check box for set-up tasks and the Capture Labor for operator labor time, if required.
- If the Indirect Task option is selected from the (only available in Operator Mode), the Indirect Task screen is displayed. Click .
- If the Machine Downtime option is selected from the (only available in Machine Mode), a new booking is created for the indirect task code with Open status. Downtime Task screen is displayed. Click to create a new booking for the downtime code with Open status. All tasks for the machine are automatically stopped.
- If the Machine Mode option is selected from the , the operator is switched to machine mode. The list of machines available are displayed. By selecting a machine from the list, Dispatch List for that resource group and machine is displayed.
- Report the quantity without starting a job using the Report icon.
Note: This icon is displayed only if the Support Stand-Alone Quantity Reporting check box is selected on the Shop Floor Parameters form and the RS9328SL feature is enabled in the Feature Management form.
- This icon is enabled only if the selection check box corresponding to the task is cleared.
- When this icon is clicked, the Report Quantity tab on the Task Details form is displayed wherein you can report the quantities.
- The Setup option is displayed on the Task Display forms for set-up tasks.
