Configuring Shop Floor Parameters
- Select Parameter Dashboard > Global Parameters > Shop Floor > Shop Floor Parameters. The Shop Floor Parameters form is displayed.
- Specify this information:
- Collect Attendance
- Select this check box to enable New Shop Floor with the Time Track functionality.
- Support Multiple Selection
- Select this check box to allow a user to select multiple tasks for reporting.
- Show Unassigned Tasks
- Select this check box to display unassigned tasks along with assigned tasks.
- Supervisor Start Page

Select this check box to display the home page that must be displayed when a user with supervisor role logs in. Possible values:
- Resource Summary
- Assignment List
- Resource Summary
- The Resource Summary form is displayed, after successful login.
- Assignment List
- The Assignment List form is displayed, after successful login.
- Display Welcome Message
- Select this check box to display welcome message when a user logs into Shop Floor.
- Biometric System in Use

Select this check box to use the biometric functionality by the user. If this checkbox is selected, these biometric options are displayed:
- Biometric Instruction: Enter the instructions for the employee to follow if the Biometric System in use is selected. By default, the application displays this instruction message, Please scan your right index finger.
- Biometric Message Validity (in seconds): Select this to display the valid biometric message for the user. By default, the application displays 30 seconds that the application needs to wait for a successful biometric scan.
- Work Area Restricted Access
- Select this check box to restrict entry for the specified work area.
- Hold Work Area Access at User Level

Select this check box to allow users with authorized access to perform transactions in the work area. This is applicable only if the employee does not have work areas setup in the Employee Work Area Access form.
Note: This parameter is displayed only if the Work Area Restricted Access parameter is selected.
- Use Direct Entry as Operator Landing Page

Select this check box to display the Direct Entry form when logged in as an operator.
Note: The Direct Entry form is displayed only if the operator has no active task.
- Allow Supervisor to Stop Jobs from Current Active Tasks
- Select this check box to stop the jobs from the Current Active Tasks form. This is available if feature RS9313 is activated on the Feature Management form.
- Allow Switch to Runtime
- Select this check box to allow an operator to switch from setup time to runtime.
- PRC Data Refresh Frequency (Minutes)

Select this check box to refresh the Production Reporting and Control (PRC) data in the specified frequency. You can specify the number of minutes after which the Control Tower checks the status of work areas.
Note:The default value is 5 minutes.
- By default, this value is set to 5 minutes.
- Operator Team Move
- Select this check box to allow the user to move from a team.
- Operator Team Create
- Select this check box to allow the user to create a team.
- Ask Team Operator
- Select this check box to validate with the user or team before starting or stopping a job. If the check box is cleared, the job is started or stopped for the team.
- Split Quantity In Team Options
- Allocate To Operator
- Select this check box to allocate the quantity to the reporting operator, when quantity is reported by a team.
- Click Save.
