QR Code format

A QR code needs to be created with these components:

Where the individual component represents:
  • xx.xx.xx.xx: IP Address of the Infor Factory Track Server.
  • username: the registration username normally be set to ‘FTAutomation’.
  • password: the password for the registration user.
  • config: the configuration should be set to the default ‘FT Configuration’.
  • showconfig: showconfig is set to True if the operator selects the configuration or set to False when not allowed.
  • deviceid: Device ID should be left blank so that it is automatically given the next number.
  • devicedesc: Device description must be left blank so that the device’s internal name is assigned to the device description.
  • devicetype: Device type needs to be set to identify the type of device the App is being installed in. The options must have been defined in Factory Track prior to the registration. The default value from Factory Track is considered if this component is left blank.
  • mode: The mode identifies whether the device is to be used in online-only mode (0) and must currently be set to this value. The default value from Factory Track is considered if this component is left blank.

A Print QR software is used to print the QR code. The software must be purchased, if required.
