Managing Kanban Items

You can designate items in the ERP system as Kanban items and define a replenishment quantity and replenishment source.

  1. Select Master Explorer > Configuration > Infor CloudSuite Industrial Setup > Kanban Setup > Kanban Items. The Kanban Items form is displayed.
  2. Click New for creating a new item.
    Note: You can select an item from the item list to modify an existing Kanban item.
  3. Specify or review this information:
    Item
    The Kanban Item.
    Note: You can modify this value only for the new Kanban item.
    Kanban Qty
    The quantity of items to be used as the default replenishment quantity for Kanbans created for this item.
    Replenishment Source
    The source for replenishing the Kanban. Possible values:
    • Inventory
    • JIT Production
    • Purchase Order
    • Transfer Order
    UOM
    The unit of measurement for the Kanban item.
  4. Select the Active check box to allow this Kanban to be replenished or clear this check box to prevent replenishment requests from being made for this Kanban.
  5. Click Save.
