Configuring Menu Maintenance
Use this form to customize and configure menu, sub-menu, transaction profiles and the sequential arrangement, scan box support, the maximum menu options and translation.
- Select Menu Management > Menu Maintenance. The Menu Maintenance form is displayed.
 - Click New to create a new menu.
 - Specify this information:
           
- ERP Type
 - The ERP for which you require to create a new menu. For example, Infor-M3.
 - Menu Name
 - 
              A unique menu name. 
              Note: This field cannot be modified if you are modifying an existing menu.
 - Description
 - The description for the menu.
 - Display name
 - A name for the menu. This value is used in the actual list menu or icon menu displayed on a scanner device.
 - Maximum Menu Options
 - 
              The maximum number of menu icons to be displayed on the Menu screen. 
              Note: A maximum nine menu icons or transaction profile icons can be displayed.
 - Include Scan Box
 - 
              Select this check box to open the form directly by specifying the Transaction Name in the Scan field.
              Note: You can specify the transaction name when the Scan Box option is selected on the Main Menu page.
 - Menu Type
 - 
              The type of menu. Possible values: 
              
- Icon
 - List
 
 - Translation
 - 
              The language code and equivalent translation of the Menu Display Name.
              Note: This field is available only if Menu Type is set to List and the System Record check box is not selected.
 
 - Select the record on the Menu Options tab to add, modify or delete menu options.
 - Click Add and specify the Icon ID and Action Type on the Icon tab, if the current Menu Type is Icon.
 - Click Add and specify the Option Type, Menu Option on the Menu tab if the current Menu Type is List.
 - Click Save.
