Parameter Dashboard

Use this form to view and configure parameters that are applicable to all Infor Factory Track transactions and forms.

You can view the parameters based on transactions, warehouse and work areas. By default, the transaction view is displayed.

Transaction View

The parameters that are displayed in this view includes:

  • Global Parameters
  • Shop Floor Parameters
  • Warehouse Parameters

By default, the global parameters are displayed. However, the user with administrator role can access the shop floor and warehouse parameters along with the list of sub-modules that are associated with the module. Each sub module is further classified into transaction. The user with administrator role can select a transaction to view or modify the parameter associated with the transactions. This user can copy a parameter from warehouse, work area or generic level using the Copy Transaction Parameters option. A parameter can also be deleted using the Remove Transaction Parameters option.

Warehouse View

The Warehouse Mobility parameters are displayed for different warehouses. You can view the warehouse related parameters by selecting Warehouse in the View By field.

Note: If the warehouse has not been setup in the application, you can use the Add Warehouse option.

You can sort the parameters that are displayed using these options:

Transaction Detail:
Displays the list all transactions and the related parameters. The Add Parameter Overrides option can be used to view the list of transactions for which a parameter is not defined at the warehouse level. You can select a transaction and click Process option to copy the parameter to a transaction.

By default, the parameters are copied from the generic level. However, the parameter can also be copied from a specific warehouse by specifying the warehouse in the From Whse field. This field is displayed only if the Copy From Transaction check box is cleared.

If the user with administrator role choose to copy the parameters from a specific warehouse, only the transactions that has parameters at that warehouse is displayed.

The Remove Parameter Overrides option can be used to view the list of transactions for which parameters are associated with a warehouse. You can select a transaction and click Process option to delete the parameter to a transaction.

Work Area View

The Shop Floor parameters are displayed for each Work Area. The user with administrator role can copy a parameter from the generic level or from a different work area.

You can sort the parameters that are displayed using these options:

Transaction Detail:
Displays the list of transaction and the related parameters for the selected work area. You can also view the details of a selected parameter. This data can only be modified.
Transaction List:
Displays the list of all the transactions and the related parameter. The Add Parameter Overrides option can be used to view the list of transactions for which a parameter is not defined at the work area level. You can select a transaction and click Process option to copy the parameter to a transaction.
