Defining Device Types

  1. Select Configuration > FT App > Device Types. The Device Types form is displayed.
  2. Click New to create a new device type. A blank line added to the grid.
  3. Specify this information:
    Device Type
    A code to be used for the device type. For example, P for printer.
    Description
    The description for the device type. For example, Printer.
  4. Click Save.
