Notification System
The Notification System uses the Application Event System to monitor Factory Track for 7 pre-defined events. When an event occurs an email is sent to all users who have subscribed to receive notifications. The Notification System is comprised of two forms, the Notification Setup form and the Events Setup form. The FT Event Setup form lists the AES Events and related captions used by the Notification System. The Notification Setup form is used to activate notifications, set selection criteria and to schedule notifications to run be run by the Taskman Service or to run on demand.
The standard notifications in the system includes:
- Monitored Absence Usage
- When a timesheet that contains a monitored absence code is processed a notice is sent.
- Aging Absence Requests
- When an absence request is not disposed of within a designated threshold, email notifications are sent.
- Excessive Worked Hours
- Monitors the duration between an In transaction and an Out transaction. When a span is identified that exceeds the specified threshold a notice is generated.
- Pending Absences
- A specified date range is searched for requested, planned, taken or Holiday absence records. Email notifications are sent for these record.
- Short Break
- The duration of Lunch Outs and Lunch Ins are monitored. A notification is sent if the duration is less than the scheduled breaks time.
- Unprocessed Timesheets
- A specified date range is searched for unprocessed report dates. Email notifications are sent for these records.
- Unscheduled Shifts
- Clock In that exceeds a specified variance from the scheduled start time generates a notice.
