Configuring Global Parameters

Use this form to configure parameters that apply to all Infor Factory Track LN transactions and forms.

  1. Select Configuration > Parameters > Global Parameters. The Global Parameters form is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Time ans Attendance Option
    Select this check box to implement time and attendance option.
    Time Track is implemented
    Select this check box to allow users to access the time track related transactions in factory track.
    Infor CloudSuite Industrial Time and Attendance Implemented
    Select this check box to implement Infor CloudSuite Industrial Time and Attendance functionality to this configuration.
    Shop Floor in Use
    Select this check box to allow users to access the shop floor module in Factory Track.
    Time Track is implemented
    Select this check box to allow users to access the time track related transactions in factory track.
    None
    Select this check box to disable both Shop Floor and Time Track are not implemented.
    FT App in Use
    Select this check box to use the Factory Track mobile application.
    Auto Post
    Select this check box to automatically post the secured transactions.
    Auto Post Insecure Transactions
    Select this check box to automatically post the transactions that are not secured.
    Note: This check box is displayed only if the Auto Post check box is selected.
    Teams Implemented
    Select this check box to allow the creation of teams in Time Track module.
    Allow Automatic Wset Header Creation
    Select this check box to allow the creation of workset header information automatically.
    Defer Processing of Unposted Shop Floor Transactions
    Select this check box to disable the processing of unposted shop floor transactions to CSI automatically. However, users can post these transactions manually or through a background task.
    Note: This check box is displayed only if the RS9251 feature is enabled on the Feature Management form.
    Auto Open Work Center Form when Job active
    Select this check box to automatically open the Work Center form when a job is in progress.
    Added Item Stock Room Location Permanent
    Select this check box to create a permanent link between item stock and location, incase this link is not already defined in CSI. This link is created after a transaction is completed.
    Allow Generic Employee to End Session
    Select this check box to enable a generic employee to end a session.
    Allow Multiuse of Resources
    Select this check box to allow the use of resources by multiple operators.
    Allow Negative Inventory
    Select this checkbox to allow users to issue material, even if inventory is not available.
    Allow Transaction if CycleCount
    Select this check box to allow users to perform transactions involving items that are part of a cycle count. Clear this check box to prevent users from performing transactions involving cycle count items until the cycle count is completed.
    Combine Labor and Quantity
    Select this check box to combine the labor and quantity count.
    Containers in Use
    Select this check box to display the containers that are in use in the Warehouse Mobility module.
    Display Resource ID
    Select this check box to display the resource ID in shop floor transactions.
    Allow Job Resources Only
    When Display Resource ID is set to Yes, select this check box to display the list of job resources defined for the job. When this is cleared, all valid resources are displayed. Time Track transaction forms also uses this parameter.
    Elapsed Time Cut Off
    The number of hours a job can be running before it is marked as an error record. You can use this parameter to prevent excessive hours from being clocked to a job in the event that an employee forgets to stop.
    Enter Lot Attributes
    Specify whether users will specify lot attributes when they create a new lot. If you select Ask, the user will be given the option of whether to specify lot attributes.
    Generate Serials
    Select this checkbox to allow users to generate serials while reporting inventory.
    List Zero Inventory Records
    Select this check box to display the list of locations with no inventory.
    Maximum Decimal Length
    Select this check box to set the length for the maximum decimal that is allowed for the quantity related fields.
    SF Quantity Format
    Select this check box to set the format in which the quantity is displayed in Shop Floor transactions.
    PIN Required
    Select this check box to make PIN number mandatory when employees sign in as a generic user.
    Process Labor
    Select this check box to process labor for the selected ERP.
    Supplier Lot is ERP Lot
    Select this check box to automatically use the supplier lot number as the ERP Lot Number.
    Support User Templates
    Select this check box to allow the use of templates created by the user.
    Restrict Movement For Pick List Serials
    Select this check box to restrict the usage of serial numbers that are already picked for a pick list.
    Integrated Documents in Use
    Select this check box to indicate if a method of displaying or uploading a document is in use.
    Note: This check box is displayed only if the RS9101 feature is enabled in the Feature Management form.
    Integrated IDM in Use
    Select this check box to indicate if IDM is used for displaying or uploading a document.
    Note: This check box is displayed only if the Integrated Document in Use check box is selected.
    Accounting Entity
    Select this check box to use an accounting entity while communicating a document to IDM.
    Support User Templates
    Select this check box to allow the use of templates created by the user.
  3. Click Save.
