Active Task

Use this form to view and manage the active tasks performed by an operator or machine.

Each line displays the start date and time of the task along with other information related to the task. You can search for a specific job by specifying the job details such as the item or order number, employee name or number in the search field.

Note: If the Exclude Rejects check box is selected for the Work Area transaction on the Parameter Dashboard form, the scrapped or rejected quantities are excluded when calculating the total quantity and the time to complete the task is also modified.

You can use these options on the form:

  • Stop: Enables you to stop an ongoing task.
Note: In case of downtime, the job is paused when started from the Dispatch List form and a No Running Code (NRC) is generated only if, on the Resources form:
    • Start from Integration check box is selected.
    • A value is specified in the No Running Job Code.
  • Report: Enables you to report quantities for the task.
  • NCR: Enables you to create a non-conformance report for the task.
  • Remove Labor: Enables you to remove the logged in employee from the task or job. When this option is selected, the ongoing task stops and an identical job starts, excluding the employee who has been removed.
Note: This option is displayed, only if:
    • The Remove or Add Labor to Machine Jobs check box is selected for the Work Area transaction on the Parameter Dashboard form.
    • The job is recording both machine and labor time.
    • The job is not paused.
  • Add Labor: Enables you to add an employee to the task or job. When this option is selected, the ongoing task stops and an identical job is started, including the employee who has been added.
Note: This option is displayed, only if:
    • The Remove or Add Labor to Machine Jobs check box is selected for the Work Area transaction on the Parameter Dashboard form.
    • The job is recording only the machine time.
