Picking Items for Customer Orders

You must pick items by customer order, if you are not using the CSI Pick, Pack, and Ship module.

  1. Select Infor CSI Warehouse Mobility > Ship It > Customer Order Picking. The Customer Order Picking transaction form is displayed.
  2. Specify or review this information:
    Whse
    The warehouse at which the items are received.
    Ord
    The customer order number.
    Stage Loc
    Select a staging location. A location may be selected by default.
    Document Number
    Specify a document number for the material transaction re-consolidation or grouping in CSI. The document number is used for processing both regular and serial controlled items.
  3. Select Next. If there are multiple lines on the order, the order lines are displayed. Select a line and select Next. The order number, line number, item number, and required quantity are displayed.
  4. Specify or review this information:
    Loc
    Select a location from which you can pick the item.
    Lot
    If applicable, scan a lot number to pick the item.
    Note: An error message is displayed for the lot items or serial items if the transaction restriction code is set to Stock Move in CSI.
    Available
    The available quantity at the selected location is displayed.
    To Pick
    Specify the quantity of items you are picking.
  5. Select Process.
  6. Scan serial number for the item. Scan or select a serial number in the Serial field for each item to manually generate serial numbers. The Scanned field displays the total serial numbers to be scanned.
  7. Click Process after scanning the required serial numbers. Select Show List to view, or select Clear List to clear the list of available serial numbers.
  8. Specify this information:
    Printer
    The name of printer. This value is defaulted. However, we can modify the value.
    Label Per Box
    The number of labels to be printed for each box.
    Qty Remaining
    The number of remaining labels to be printed is displayed.
    No of Boxes
    The number of boxes for which the labels must be printed.
    Qty Per Box
    The number of items available in each box.
  9. Select Print to print the labels, when the remaining labels to print is set to zero. Select Clear Labels to clear the No of Boxes and Qty Per Box fields.
  10. Select an item and click Process to pick additional items for this order. If only one item is remaining for picking on the order, an item is automatically selected.
